God

We believe there is one eternally existing God who exists in three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He is the Creator of all things, both visible and invisible, and is therefore worthy of all glory, honor, and praise.

God is perfect in love, power, holiness, goodness, knowledge, wisdom, justice, and mercy. He is unchanging and remains the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Revelation

We believe that God has revealed Himself to mankind through Jesus Christ, who is the visible image of the invisible God, through the Holy Scriptures, and through His creation, which testifies to His power and glory.

The Bible

We believe that the texts which are closest to the original autographs of the Bible are:

  • The Traditional Masoretic Hebrew Text for the Old Testament

  • The Traditional Received Greek Text for the New Testament

These texts underlie the King James Version of the Bible, as found in The Greek Text Underlying the English Authorized Version of 1611, published by the Trinitarian Bible Society in 1976.

We believe that the King James Version (Authorized Version) of the English Bible is a true, faithful, and accurate translation of these providentially preserved texts. In our time, it has no equal among English translations.

The translators completed their work with such care that we can confidently hold up the Authorized Version of 1611 and say, “This is the Word of God.” At the same time, in certain passages we may refer to the underlying original language texts and compare Scripture with Scripture for complete clarity.

Mankind

We believe that mankind was created by God in His image for His glory. God created humanity male and female, and the first humans, Adam and Eve, were created without sin and appointed as caretakers of God’s creation.

The Fall

We believe that when Adam and Eve chose to disobey God, sin entered the world. As a result, mankind became fallen and separated from fellowship with God. This fall affected all of creation and distorted the image of God in humanity.

Salvation

We believe that Jesus Christ came to reconcile mankind to God. He lived a sinless life and willingly died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. God raised Him from the dead, and through Him salvation is offered as a free gift.

By God’s grace, all who repent and place their faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior receive forgiveness of sins and eternal life. Salvation is found in Christ alone.

The Church

We believe that the Church is the visible body of Christ in the world. The mission of the Church is to glorify God, proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and make disciples.

The Resurrection and Christ’s Return

We believe that Jesus Christ will return again. He will judge both the living and the dead and will bring about the full establishment of God's kingdom.
